For older children and adventurous adults, there’s a great line-up of other water-based activities on offer, such as power boating and coasteering. Coasteering is an action-packed mix of climbing, hiking and diving, where you’ll find yourself scaling cliffs, entering smugglers’ caves and jumping into pools, all while wearing life jackets, neoprene suits and helmets. Not for the faint hearted!

Designed for residents to enjoy a social walk, the gardens are formal and ornate, with a geometric flowerbeds and stirring views out across the bay. Brass bands play at the bandstand during the summer months.

Plus there’s also pedal go-karting, a frisbee golf course, a zip-line and play area, and on rainy days the straw barn and indoor soft play area are on hand for fun under cover.
For a relaxing day out head to Filey Dams Nature Reserve. This wetland habitat, located away from the coast, is a beautiful natural space installed paths, raised footbridges and bird hides, allowing you to glimpse migratory waders like green and wood sandpipers and greenshanks in autumn.
